Multi-Faceted Research Study of a Single Historical Topic
The Chronarchivum Project uses a multi-faceted research approach to document the history of a single topic. We attempt to leave no stone unturned, learning everything we can using a wide range of primary, secondary, and online sources.
This history of the Hamm’s Brewery is well over a century long. It began no long after St. Paul became a city, and soon became a prominent part of its growth. It is the story of a family, a wildly successful business, and the community to grew around it.
We’re just getting started. In the coming days we will expand this section to include some of the successes and challenges we’ve encountered during our research.
